Welcome to the Borders Rugby Referees’ Society.

Since 1963, the Society has existed to recruit, develop and allocate match officials to games in the Scottish Borders.  

Being a rugby match official is a great opportunity to give back to the game and is a crucial role in making sure matches go ahead.

As a match official you will be coached and supported to develop to officiate at whatever level of rugby suits you – from youth and senior matches in the Borders, to leagues across Scotland, in Europe and across the world.
